Pioneering Europe's Plastic Recycling
Greenertis is poised to become a leader in advanced plastic waste recycling across Europe. Our very first facility is expected to be operating in Tarragona by the second half of 2025, marking the start of our ambitious expansion throughout Europe.
Spanning over 22,000 sqm, this cutting-edge plant in Tarragona will leverage the latest advancements in pyrolysis technology to transform non-recyclable plastic waste into Circular-Oil®. This innovative product is a sustainable alternative to traditional raw materials for circular plastic production.

The Future of Advanced Recycling Technology
In collaboration with BDI BioEnergy International, a pioneer and leader in the bioenergy and chemical recycling sectors, renowned for developing eco-friendly technologies, Greenertis is implementing state-of-the-art SynCycle technology at our facility in Tarragona.
Syncycle Technology
Mixed polyolefin plastics (such as polyethylene, polypropylene) get sorted from waste streams which were originally bound for incineration or landfills These plastics are then transformed into Circular-Oil®, which is used to create new circular polyolefins.
They are converted into Circular-Oil® to produce new circular polyolefins.
